We are excited to introduce Open Checkout in the library this year!  Open Checkout time is for students who have finished their library books and would like to checkout more before the next scheduled time with their class.  Here are the Open Checkout rules:

  • Students are only allowed to have 3 books checked out to them at a time.  If they finish 1 book and want to come to Open Checkout time, they can only get 1 book.  If they return 3 books, then they can get 3 more.
  • Students MUST return their library books by 9:00 in the morning if they are planning on checking out more books that day.
  • Students may only go to the library for Open Checkout with their teacher’s permission.
  • Open Checkout is on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 2:30-3:00 pm and on Wednesdays at 11:00-11:30 am.
