Kindergarten and Early Childhood Registration

Thursday, February 9 is the official District 54 Kindergarten Registration Day. Registration is intended for any incoming Lakeview-based kindergarteners for the 2017-2018 school year. In order to register, your child must be age 5 on or before September 1, 2017.   Registration will take place at Lakeview School from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please click here to find out specifics about the documents needed for registration. Preschool helps children develop the social, emotional and pre-academic skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

District 54 is committed to engaging students in the early learning experiences they need to succeed in school and in life. Preschool for All is a high quality program that brings together qualified staff, a proven curriculum and parent involvement to help prepare children for success in school.

Preschool for All is offered at the District 54 Early Learning Center. There is no cost to parents/guardians of children who qualify for this program and transportation to and from school is provided.

How can I enroll my child?
Call 847-230-1762 to schedule a developmental screening appointment. The Preschool for All program serves children ages 3- 5 who are identified as being at-risk of academic failure.
