Stay Safe Online Digital Safety Presentation

Who:        Fifth and sixth grade students and a parent or guardian

What:       Learn about new-age Internet crime and how to keep your children safe. Presented by Officer Kowal, who works for the Hoffman Estates Police Department and is a District 54 School Resource Officer.

When:     Tuesday, April 10, 2017 at 5:30p.m.

Where:    Lakeview’s Library

Why:        The cyberworld is evolving at a fast pace, and it’s easier than ever for children to become targets of a crime. We teach preschoolers about Stranger Danger, and Stay Safe Online is the next step in educating our pre-teens and their parents and guardians about Internet safety. It’s Stranger Danger 2.0!
