November 17, 2021

Lakeview Parents,

We hope you are enjoying your week.  Winter weather definitely arrived today.  As the weather turns cooler, please remind your children to dress for the cold weather.  The children do go outside for lunch recess to get some fresh air and we need everyone dressed warm.

Willow Creek – Food Truck

On Friday, November 19, 2021, the Willow Creek Food Truck will be in the Keller Junior High School Parking lot (820 Bode Road, Schaumburg, IL, 60194) from 4:00 to 5:00 PM giving away free bags of food.  Unique to this Friday, we will be providing Turkeys while supplies last.  This opportunity is available to any District 54 family that is need of assistance with groceries.  The parking lot will be set up as a drive thru with families remaining in their cars and volunteers bringing the bags of food to the vehicle.

Additionally, the Willow Creek Food Truck will be at Keller on the following Fridays from 4:00 – 5:00 PM:

  • Friday 11/19
  • Friday 12/3
  • Friday 12/10

To help with making the process more efficient for you, considering checking in prior to picking up your food on Friday, by texting the word “mobile” to 224-427-3444.  Please know, it is not essential to check in prior to Friday.

Please know, this opportunity would not be possible without the amazing assistance from our community partner, Willow Creek. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership, generosity, and willingness to help our families within the community.
