As we get ready to welcome students back to school, we want to remind you that electric bikes, scooters and skateboards are not permitted on District 54 property. We do not allow these devices at school due to safety concerns including the potential for accidents and the possibility of fire.
In District 54 this applies to students, as well as to family members and friends who may be picking up or dropping off students at school.
Our local villages also have ordinances related to e-bikes, scooters and skateboards and police have notified the school district that they intend to enforce them.
