Halloween

Trunk or Treat was a great way to kick off the Halloween season and we are thrilled that Halloween is right around the corner! We will be celebrating with an outdoor parade and classroom parties on Monday, October 31st. Please take a moment to read the following information.

Costumes:

Children may come to school in their costumes on October 31st. Since students are allowed to come to school in costumes, they do not need to change at lunch or go home. All costumes must be school appropriate. The expectations for everyday dress are applied to costumes. No look-a-like weapons of any kind are allowed as part of a costume. No gore, blood, or “scary” costumes. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

Parade:

We will be having an outdoor parade this year in the afternoon. All Lakeview students (K-6) will be parading. Families are welcome to come and watch the parade.  If there is rain, we will parade through our gym and families are still welcome.  More information will be coming soon about the parade route.

Parties:

We will be having classroom parties this year. Kindergarten through 3rd grade will having parties conducted by PTA volunteers and 4th-6th grade teachers will run their classroom parties. If you are a Kindergarten through 3rd grade parent, please read the information below from the PTA in regards to volunteering. You MUST sign up. Parents will not be allowed in the building if you are not a room volunteer.  As a reminder, please do not send in any edible treats with your child for their class party or for students to take home.  Any food items sent to school will be returned with your child.  Thank you for helping to ensure our students’ safety.
