Halloween Celebrations

On Tuesday, Oct. 31st, we will be celebrating Halloween beginning with a parade outside at 1:15pm. The parade will be weather permitting and will take place through the school with parents in the gym, if it cannot be held outside. We will be in communication if plans change due to the weather.

Families are invited to come watch the parade as we walk around the lake. The parade will be 1:15 – 1:45.  We would love for families to be spread out along the parade route to ensure they see their children. We will be exiting Door 1, walking around the lake, and entering back into the building at Door 7.

In the event that we can not parade outside, we will parade inside and parents will come into the gym. More information to come pending weather.

Classroom teachers will be hosting classroom parties immediately following the parade.

Students may come to school in their costumes that day. When choosing costumes for your child please keep in mind the following guidelines:

  • No fake blood, gore, scary costumes or costumes depicting violence

  • No weapons or “look-alikes” of any kind (squirt guns, chains, whips, plastic swords, etc.)

  • Ensure that costumes are appropriate and inoffensive to all ages at our school

  • Be certain that your child can see through any mask or head covering

If your family does not celebrate, please contact the front office or your classroom teacher so we can make alternate arrangements.
